A. Metal Roofing
Consultant
|

1. |
Metal Roofing Consultant shall be
a person with a minimum of 15 years' experience in the installation of
metal roofing systems, and shall be certified as an installer by metal
roofing manufacturers. Such certification(s) shall be current and shall
demonstrate that the Consultant is up to date on installation procedures
and instructions as set forth and established by metal roofing
manufacturers, contract documents, and any other control documents, as
referenced in the specifications. Printed copies of Certificates of
Competency and qualifications shall be provided, as requested, to the
architect, building owner, general contractor, installation contractor,
surety or construction bonding company, or others holding a financial
interest in the project.

Metal Roofing Consultant shall be
certified and approved as a qualified Third Party Metal Roof Consultant
by the metal roof manufacturer, and shall be recognized by industry
peers as qualified to provide consultant services, and shall provide
references as required.

3. |
Metal Roofing Consultant shall be
a member in good standing with Roof Consultants Institute (RCI) and
shall be certified as an RRO or RRC.

4. |
Metal Roofing Consultant shall
provide a copy of his/her experience and qualifications, along with
written Fee Schedule outlining services to be performed.

5. |
Metal Roofing Consultant shall
provide services of observations, inspections, written and photographic
reports, meeting attendance, review of contract documents, drawings,
specifications, recommendations, and other such services as may be
requested by the architect, owner, metal roofing manufacturer, general
contractor, or other persons or corporations that have engaged the
services of the Consultant.

6. |
Upon request, Metal Roofing
Consultant shall provide a written outline setting forth the services to
be provided for the project entitled: "Metal
Roof Consulting Assignment/Scope of Service." This Scope
of Service shall be performed as a lump sum fee, hourly rate fee
or contract allowance, or on terms, conditions, and schedule acceptable
to the architect, owner, metal roofing manufacturer, general contractor,
or other persons, corporations or entities engaging the services of the
consultant. |
